Aran Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Yarn, Greens
Aran weight British superwash yarn in a range of green shades. The greens are achieved by dyeing first with yellow and then overdyeing with indigo, because a true green is surprisingly impossible to obtain from one single dye plant. The yellows have come from the fustic tree, weld plants and onion skins. Greens 1 to 4 have a bluish tinge, whereas 5 to 8 are more 'greeny'. They all have variations throughout the length of the yarn, which is more pronounced in skeins 1 to 3 which have green/yellow/blue running through them.
Approximately 80 metres per 50g.
Please ensure you have selected your colour from the drop-down menu before ordering.
Although every effort has been made to represent the colours accurately, there will be variations between different screens.
