This is an easy and quick knitting pattern for a hat in Chunky Baby Alpaca. Very warm and cosy, this will keep your head toasty warm through the chilly weather. The hat is knitted on straight needles in rib and stocking stitch and is great for beginners who want to knit a small garment which knits up quickly. Skills required are stocking stitch, 1 x 1 rib and decreasing stitches.

The yarn is our own naturally dyed Chunky Baby Alpaca. If you want to knit it with our yarn, please see the listing for the Easy Hat Kit and you will save if you purchase the kit. If you use a different yarn, knit a tension square first and change needles if needed to obtain the correct gauge.

Washing instructions
Hand wash in lukewarm water using a pH neutral detergent. Do not leave to soak as dye may run. Some dye may bleed out on the first couple of washes with darker dyes. Roll up in a towel to remove excess water and dry flat.
